1 hour online briefing for professionals on learning from Domestic Homicide Reviews drawing in particular from the murder of Kirsty Treloar who was murdered in 2012 and whose Domestic Homicide Review has been (re)published in 2022
Learning aims and outcomes

Participants will:

  • Learn about the common system errors which contributed towards Kirsty’s death
  • Gain an understanding of themes common in cases where adults are killed by partners, ex-partners or family members 
  • Gain a practical understanding of a homicide-prevention approach to domestic abuse casework 

Participants will be able to:

  • Utilise straightforward elements of partnership working to reduce the risk of death or serious injury
