By the end of the course, delegates will:
- be aware of non-recent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) – why it matters,
- know what action to take if they receive a disclosure of non-recent CSA by a child, young person or adult,
- know how to support children, young people and adults who disclose non-recent CSA.
- understand the action taken by Homerton Healthcare to have a better understanding of non-recent CSA,
- know how disclosures of non-recent CSA are managed by the Homerton Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service, and
- be aware of the factors for partner agencies to consider in developing systems and pathways on non-recent CSA.
There will be an opportunity for delegates to ask questions and have a wider discussion.
