CHSCP: Group A/B/C - Prevent: An Awareness Raising Workshop

• have a clear understanding of the Prevent duty,
• understand how to safeguard those with vulnerabilities, what the the process of radicalisation can look like and how to recognise who may be at risk and need support,
• have a good understanding of both localised and online risks and how to identify behaviours that would give cause for concern,
• be clear on the the referral process and pathway, and the intervention support provided in the Channel process, 
• have the opportunity to learn from case studies with a Hackney context covering the above key areas, and
• know where to access further information and resources 

A Note about Groups:

• Group A training is for people who are in contact with or work regularly with children and young people and with their parents/carers
• Group B training is for people who work regularly with children and young people and adults who are parents/carers and may have particular responsibility for safeguarding children
• Group C training is for designated safeguarding leads and managers in organisations employing staff to work with children and families or with responsibility for commissioning or delivering services.

This course is for colleagues that fall into groups A, B and C.
