CHSCP: Group B/C - Relationship Solutions - The Relationship Toolkit for Working with Parental Conflict

A half day virtual training session that will equip practitioners will the skills to recognise, understand and address parental conflict using the Amity Relationship Toolkit. This practical resource is a useful and flexible approach to building better relationships for parents. It contains strategies and tools that will help multi agency practitioners feel confident when supporting communication and conflict in the couple/parent/carer relationship.

 

• feel confident about embedding ‘relationship quality curiosity’ into everyday practice,
• have increased confidence in working with couple relationships,
• understand tools, strategies, and activities, the pre and post support self-reporting questionnaire and how to use within the context of parental conflict/individual support. and
• have access to the toolkit, which includes strategies and tools to support couples or individuals worried about parental conflict, poor communication and the impact of arguments on their children. 

A Note about Groups:

• Group A training is for people who are in contact with or work regularly with children and young people and with their parents/carers
• Group B training is for people who work regularly with children and young people and adults who are parents/carers and may have particular responsibility for safeguarding children
• Group C training is for designated safeguarding leads and managers in organisations employing staff to work with children and families or with responsibility for commissioning or delivering services.

This course is for colleagues that fall into groups B and C.
