The online conference is supported by a varied list of speakers. It will include the following aims and objectives:
  • Increase understanding of the history of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs),
  • Increase knowledge of more specialist and contemporary areas of childhood experiences and the impact of these on safeguarding children, and
  • Reflect on multi-agency and individual practice to improve how we safeguard children.

  • The significant impact of spiritual and ritual abuse on the development of children in the UK – the true stories of two survivors, Jordan Alexander
