If you are working with adults who self-neglect which may include behaviour such as hoarding you need an understanding of the complex issues surrounding mental capacity and someone’s ability and rights to make decisions. This course will help staff to understand what they can and cannot do when working with those who self neglect themselves and may demonstrate hoarding behaviour.
This 1/2 day course offers an essential understanding of self-neglect and hoarding for all staff in social work, social care, housing, health or emergency services.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the course learners will have a better understanding of

- Consider a range of practice remedies and how to adapt them to their own situations.
